Choosing your car
Can I take a test drive?
You certainly can book a test drive. Please book your test drive in advance of your visit to our Leeds dealership by contacting us and providing a copy of your driving licence at the time of booking. This ensures the car is ready for you upon arrival. Please bring your driving licence with you as well otherwise you won’t be able to take a test drive.
Do AMT cars come with service history?
All our stock at AMT Specialist Cars has been serviced in accordance with the manufacturers recommendation and will all have a full car service history in line with the manufacturer.
Delivery
Can I get my car delivered to my home?
How long will my car delivery take?
We want to ensure all cars advertised are ready to test drive. We aim to allow collection the very same day wherever possible and to have all our cars pre-inspected before they are displayed. However, due to high turnover, this may only be done after the order has been placed. If, for any reason we need more time to prepare your purchase, a maximum of three working days would be needed, ensuring your car is ready for hand over.
Can I choose my vehicle delivery timeslot?
We try to accommodate all our customers’ needs with the use of a specialist independent delivery company.
The financials
What is the initial deposit?
At AMT Leeds, our used car sales specialists offer many car finance packages to give you flexible car finance options. These start with zero deposit car finance options for those who are working on a budget.
Do you offer finance?

Who provides funding for the car?
We use a panel of finance providers and choose the most appropriate provider for you based on your needs and the car you are purchasing.
Will you part exchange my car?
We can offer a part exchange service. Just complete our online form or alternatively speak to one of our sales specialists who will be able to help you.
Can I sell my car to AMT?
Yes, you can. We’re always interested in purchasing the types of vehicles we specialise in—high-quality sports cars, prestige models, performance vehicles, luxury cars, and supercars. We also offer business vehicle solutions, including vans and pickups, from top brands like Audi, BMW, Toyota, Ford, and many more. Can you settle my outstanding car finance?
Can I buy my car with a credit card?
To secure the car for you, we are happy to take a credit card deposit of up £1,000. Then you just need to pay the balance, either by bank transfer or by visiting our showroom and paying via debit card.
Warranty and aftercare
Will the new car come with a warranty?
All our cars come with a manufacturer’s warranty if it is still valid based on the vehicle’s age. Initially, our cars had a minimum 3-year warranty, and some may have had even longer coverage. If the manufacturer’s warranty has expired, we provide a six-month warranty for your peace of mind. For more details about our warranty packages, just ask a team member.
Do you offer an extended car warranty?
Yes, we do. Most of our cars will still be under their manufacturer car warranty but if you are buying a car that’s older than three years old, we can provide you with a six-month warranty, with the option to extend that warranty for to up to three years. We partner with a company called Warrantywise to offer our warranty service.
Do you offer paint protection?
Yes, we offer an industry leading car paint and fabric protection called Life Shine from Auto Glym. We understand that you want to bubble wrap your car and keep it in the very best condition, which is why we offer our Auto Glym product as protection for your purchase. We also offer you £250 more for your part exchange car on its return if paint and fabric protection has been applied.

Where is the nearest rail station / airport?
If you are arriving by train or plane, please let us know, and we’ll gladly pick you up from the train station or airport. It’s all part of the service! Our Leeds showroom is just 0.7km from Leeds train station and about 25 minutes (6 miles) from Leeds Bradford Airport.
